Long-Range Strike Bomber at Northrop Grumman: Boeing and Lockheed Martin are still protesting

Boeing and Lockheed Martin presented today a formal protest asking for Government Accountability Office (GAO) to review the decision to award the Long Range Strike-Bomber (LRS-B) to Northrop Grumman.

The companies concluded that the selection process for the new strategic bomber was fundamentally wrong. The misjudgment would have led to Northrop Grumman being preferred over the Boeing-Lockheed Martin team, whose proposal would have offered the government the best bomber without the prohibitive upward trend of the past nelle acquisitions of defense.
