The T-100 Integrated Training System, the solution proposed by Leonardo-Finmeccanica and Raytheon for the training of pilots of the United States Air Force, will be assembled in Meridian, Mississippi, where Raytheon will build the final assembly and maintenance line of the aircraft , should the US Air Force choose the T-100.

The T-100 Integrated Training System is a next-generation solution designed to meet and exceed the mission requirements of the United States Air Force. The T-100 is based on the Aermacchi M-346 and the integrated training system includes, in addition to the aircraft, also simulators, educational systems and highly computerized classrooms, to prepare the next generation of pilots. Raytheon participates in the T-100 program in partnership with Leonardo, CAE USA and Honeywell Aerospace.

The T-100 offers high performance in flight and its tactical simulation system immerses student pilots in an extremely realistic mission scenario. The T-100 is an advanced variant of the Aermacchi M-346 currently operated by Israel, Italy, Singapore and ready to enter service with Poland shortly.
