Further improve technologies used in the rescue of human lives and develop new operational and training solutions to make helicopter rescue even more efficient and maximum safety for the staff. This is the challenge launched by the collaboration agreement signed by the December 20 by Leonardo-Finmeccanica with the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps (CNSAS). Two Italian companies that represent a reference - even internationally - in the mountain and mountain rescue sector, where the helicopter is now a strategic resource for saving lives by completing the most complex missions.

At the signing event, which took place at the Leonardo plant in Vergiate (VA) near the opening of the winter season, the leaders of the CNSAS and Leonardo's Helicopters division took part. The agreement was signed symbolically in front of the AgustaWestland AW169, destined to become one of the international helicopter rescue helicopters.
