Boeing has supported more than 1.000 Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) missions with three C-17 transport aircraft, achieving a mission capable rate of nearly 94 percent during the last five years of the logistics assistance program.

SAC is a multinational consortium for strategic air transport involving 10 NATO countries and two of the Partnership for Peace program.

The C-17s are operated by the Heavy Airlift Wing (HAW) at Pápa Air Base in Hungary, the first site where Boeing provided all operational maintenance to the C-17s.
