Fincantieri and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, Joint Owner e Operator of Four Seasons Yachts, celebrated today at the Ancona shipyard the setting for “Four Seasons I”, the first ultra-luxury vessel under construction for Four Seasons Yachts, which will be delivered by the end of 2025 and which will set sail at the beginning of 2026.
The groundbreaking ceremony, which represents the official moment of the start of construction work on a ship in dock, was attended among others by Nadim Ashi, Owner of e Executive chair of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, Joint Owner/Operator of Four Seasons Yachts, as well as founder and CEO of Fort Partners, Bart Carnahan, President Global Business Development, Portfolio Management and Residential of Four Seasons, Luigi Matarazzo, General Director of the Merchant Ships Division of Fincantieri and Gilberto Tobaldi, director of the Ancona shipyard.
During the ceremony, three specially selected coins were welded to the bottom of the hull as a sign of good luck and a form of blessing of the ship.
Thanks to a residential style and composed of suites only, “Four Seasons I” will represent a new reference standard for luxury boats. This ship, which will use the latest environmental protection technologies, will have a gross tonnage of 34.000 tons and 207 meters in length, with 95 exclusive suites characterized by an extraordinary customized design, to remove every obstacle between guests, the sea and the surrounding environment, thus creating a perfect combination. Each suite is equipped with a large outdoor terrace of varying sizes, from 6-13 m2 in size Seaview Suite to the almost 457 m2 of the Funnel Suite, which will represent the most exclusive accommodation on the yacht.
