MBDA, the European leader in complex weapon systems, will present a complete portfolio of sovereign defense solutions at Eurosatory 2024, to meet the needs of the Armed Forces in a changing strategic environment.

By offering its customers solutions suited to the new challenges of the battlefield, in a high-intensity context, MBDA will present at the show its unique beyond the line of sight (BLOS - Beyond Line Of Sight) and attack capabilities in long range depth.

MBDA is evolving the AKERON into a family that includes specific beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) capabilities, augmented by a new solution: Ground Warden. Ground Warden is the answer to the growing need for reactivity and assistance to ground operators, in an increasingly dynamic environment. Based on the AKERON MP weapon system, Ground Warden accelerates the use of reliable artificial intelligence to support decisions and coordination between systems in beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) engagement situations, while maintaining human-in-the-field -loop.

To respond to the new long-range deep strike requirements, MBDA has capitalized on its capabilities to offer the European Armed Forces and their allies sovereign solutions, in the tactical and strategic sectors. MBDA will present a portfolio of complementary systems including a Land Cruise Missile (LCM), completing MBDA's range of precision deep strike products.

The changing strategic environment also highlights the need for air defense against the full spectrum of threats. In this context, MBDA offers a complete portfolio of solutions. The latest generation Mistral, MICA and CAMM families provide multi-layered defense against all types of threats, including coordinated and saturation attacks.

MBDA also developed the Aster family of missiles, through cooperation between France, Italy and the UK. The latest generation, the Aster B1, combat proven, is a product recognized internationally for its excellent performance against the most complex threats. Integrated into the SAMP/T system, in service with the Armed Forces, this family continues to evolve with the Aster B1 NT, currently under development.

Preparing for the future, MBDA will also present Aquila, an interceptor concept against future hypersonic and ballistic threats. MBDA is capitalizing on cooperative capabilities – in its DNA – to coordinate 14 European nations as part of the HYDIS2 consortium, which is designing this future, Europe-critical protection capability.

MBDA continues to be ready, offering a range of complex weapons systems to protect the sovereignty of European nations and their allies, continuing to play a fundamental role in strengthening the crucial capabilities for the Armed Forces.
