(To Thales)

Cisco and Thales have launched a trusted solution to identify and react to cyber attacks more effectively. Cisco is one of the world leaders in IT technologies, while Thales is a reference in cyber security and in data protection.

This innovative solution comes from the combined experience of the partners in helping the operators of the national infrastructures critical to better protect their computer systems from the risks related to cyber space.

Three months after signing the strategic partnership agreement, Cisco and Thales now propose a solution anti malware of trust that ensures a more effective identification of risks and a simpler analysis of security incidents to speed up the so-called "remadiation" phase. The solution combines the products and experiences of Cisco and Thales to address the growing security demands of National Infrastructure operators and to ensure the supremacy and complete control and management of information and its own protection measures.
Introduced on the market by Thales, the joint integrated offer is based on three pillars:

  • Cisco and cybersecurity information solutions hosted on the IT infrastructure of Thales;
  • design of IT architectures that combine the products and experience of Cisco and Thales; development of security and data protection solutions for operators, certified by Thales;
  • creation of a Cyberthreat intelligence platform capable of proactively informing the detection probes, according to how the cyber attack evolves.

Every company or organization has its distinct needs in the field of cybersecurity, so the two partners have built a modular offer based on a central solution of counter-attack common. The proposed solution is supported by a wide range of services provided by the global network of Cyber Security Operations Centers (CSOC) of the Thales, among them there is also the center of Elancourt, in France.

The implementation of the anti-malware solution is the first step to provide an effective response to the growing environmental risk and to move towards a solution based on the "Security As A Service" model and capable of exploiting information on threats from all sources and offering a real-time threat detection capability.

Robert Vassoyan, president of Cisco France, said: "Our alliance with Thales offers organizations a new perspective on how to respond to the challenges of digital transformation. Working together we have developed a cyber security solution that takes full advantage of Cisco's experience in identifying cyber risks and analyzing them. "

Marc Darmon, Deputy General Manager of Thales added: “Thales and Cicso worked together to develop a completely innovative solution. We guarantee the supremacy of cybersecurity systems based on Thales certified architectures and now we offer a single offer that combines the best of both companies' capabilities. "
