Syria: the worst bombs are those of disinformation

There is no evidence of a chemical weapons attack perpetrated by the Syrian army on the city of Idlib. Once again the source of "truth" is the so-called Syrian Human Rights Observatory (v.articolo), which behind the tinsel of philanthropic purposes is a political organization close to the anti-Assad rebel front based in Great Britain.

The media attack is on nine columns in all Western newspapers and is achieving a dual purpose:

- obfuscating the Islamist attack in St. Petersburg, which after only 24 hours disappears from the first pages;

- hit the image of the Assad government that is winning the war in Syria.

The two objectives are intertwined. The mainstream politician could not afford to have Putin become a victim in the moment of greatest media concentration against Moscow. As soon as news of the attack on the St. Petersburg metro was heard, President Trump offered Putin US telephone collaboration in the fight against terrorism (which already exists on the quiet). The first scenario on which this axis is having effects is precisely Syria, both on the anti-ISIS front and on the anti-Islamist rebel front. In particular as reported by Online Defense (v.articolo) it is precisely the Hama-Idlib front where the anti-Assad fundamentalist militias are strongest and where the decisive battle for the government of Damascus will be fought. So what's better than a bomb to be thrown to world public opinion to remind those who touch the role of the villain?

Obviously, the cynical and instrumental use of counting children is part of the tissue paper. This is not the first time this has happened. Close to the liberation of Aleppo from the jihadist militias, the alarms against the use of unconventional weapons (never tried) followed one another. Dozens of hospitals were bombed with incredible timing, even more than there were. Needless to say, the perpetrators were always Syrians and Russians, and even in that case the source was theSyrian Observatory of Human Rights... The United Nations with incredible diligence and without investigating the truthfulness of the news, they moved with a motion.

Less than a day after the rumor about chemical weapons spread, Damascus and its allies return to the international bench of the defendants. Leveraging on civilian deaths in Syria is like talking about speeding in Formula 1: technically it doesn't make sense, especially if it's not supported by evidence. However, making it one-way only becomes a speciously political way of doing "information". The latest news from local sources speak for example of a Syrian attack on a rebel arsenal. Chemical weapons would therefore be Islamists and not government ones.

There is a huge media campaign underway to put a tad between Washington and the Kremlin. The possible Trump-Putin axis removes sleep for many.
