The interview with the Lebanese Minister of the Interior and Municipalities Nohad El Machnouk defines a complete picture of the international political situation within Lebanon. Member of Movement the Future, inside the 14 Coalition March, is part of the parliamentary commissions for human and foreign affairs and of the ministerial commission that deals with the Syrian refugee crisis.

Journalist with a political vocation, in the 1992 he became political adviser to the then Prime Minister Rafic Hariri; then he continues his journalistic career becoming a columnist for important Lebanese newspapers until the 2009 when he decides to run for parliamentary elections. In the 2014 he is nominated, by the national unity government of Tammam Salam, Minister of the Interior and Municipalities, today a possible candidate to become Prime Minister himself.

Creator of Global Security Strategy, to restore state sovereignty over all Lebanese territory. It currently has the daunting task of monitoring and defining the government plans needed to combat terrorism and protecting its country from the many repercussions resulting from the Syrian conflict and from the presence of the Islamic State in Iraq.

Despite his political position he abstained from signing the point in the declaration of the ministers of the Arab countries, held in Tunis last March, which proclaims the Hezbollah party, a member of the Lebanese government, and the affiliated institutions as terrorist organizations.
