The north-west front is on fire. After two months of relative calm, coinciding with the beginning of the massive Russian air-raid bombing in the Governors of Idlib and Hama, the Syrian army has returned to exert pressure in the areas north of Latakia still occupied by jihadist rebels.

Dozens of fundamentalist militants, according to local sources, were allegedly killed after an intense artillery attack and tanks started on Monday November 14.

They would have been targeted with heavy artillery and tanks placed around Rabia, a town less than 10 km from the Turkish border and not far from the strategic 4 highway that connects the coast to the Idlib Governorate.

The re-ignition of the northwest front, according to military sources, indicates the beginning of the crucial phase for the liberation of the regions between Latakia and Aleppo infested by the presence of Islamist groups, among which stands out Jaish al-Fatah, (the Conquest Army).

The Syrian air offensive in the region of Deir Ezzor also resumes in grand style, where on the afternoon of November 15, the command of the Al Quwwat al-Jawwiyah al Arabiya as-Souriya reports the neutralization of some military sites of the Caliphate and the killing in an air raid of the head of intelligence of the Islamic State for the area of Deir Ezzor.
