As it was easy to foresee, the fragile "ceasefire" in force for just over a week in Syria has completely disappeared. Clashes across the country are resumed with the same intensity as before. To the weapons is added the diplomatic blackout between the USA and Russia, which mutually accuse each other of having contributed to breaking the truce.

Prepared for weeks, the shock wave of the Syrian Armed Forces began around the eastern suburbs of Aleppo, surrounded but still in the hands of jihadist militiamen. The areas involved in the clashes of these hours are those immediately east of the Citadel of Aleppo and the northern area of Handarat, where the forces of Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (Eg al Nusra), the so-called Free Syrian Army and other subgroups of the jihadist galaxy operating in the Aleppo Governorate.

Together with the Syrian Republican Guard they are engaged in the front line National Defense Forces (NDF), a territorial militia organized with the help of Iran particularly suitable for operations in urban areas, and a large number of militants Hezbollah.

The large-scale offensive would have taken after 4 days of Russian-Syrian joint air strikes and an intense artillery barrage on jihadist positions.

War rumors resume even further south in the Governorate of Hama. Units equipped with T-90 tanks Qawat Al-Nimr (Tiger Forces) and departments of the renowned 4a Armored division (whose officers are traditionally Alawites) would have attacked the posts of Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham date in rapid progress throughout the area for a few days.
