After pressure from Russia, Sarraj's visit to Rome and Merkel's insistence on summoning the fighters in Libya to Berlin for serious peace talks, at 22:45 Italian time the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA) announced that join the ceasefire requested by Russia and Turkey midweek.

They did so after reaching the mysterious Turkish drone facility in the "banana project" area, on the outskirts of Tripoli, already heavily bombed in recent days. They did so after a repetition of the Sarraj Government of National Agreement (GNA) air forces, which heavily bombed LNA vehicles at al-Khalataat, in Tripoli. Above all, they did so after securing control of an extensive strip of territory that leads from Sirte to the west of Abu Grein (also called Abu Qurain), being able to put the city of Misrata and its strategic stopover in the sights of artillery.

Last but not least, it does so after the dialogue offer by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.

Meanwhile, Ankara goes to the collection: this morning is the announcement of an agreement for the payment of 2,7 billion dollars of credits of Turkish citizens and businesses by the GNA. Payment will be made by the end of February.
