The Body of the Guardians of the Revolution (better known as Pasdaran) issued an official warning addressed to all ships crossing in the Persian Gulf, warning of any trespassing within Iranian territorial waters.

"In case of infringement" the note says "The answer will be immediate ...".

The warning is addressed to all vessels, but in particular to those Saudis engaged for some days in exercises in the waters adjacent to the Sea of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf port and for decades the center of disputes over maritime jurisdiction.

The Navy of Iran and the naval forces of the Pasdaran "they are ready for any response, proportionate to the threat " they say in Tehran.

For his part, Riyadh, through the commander of the Royal Navy Admiral Abdullah Al Sultan, recalls that the exercises had been planned for some time and were planned to increase the margins of readiness to combat the Saudi Eastern fleet.

The Iranian note is dated 5 October, but the tension in the Gulf between the navies of Iran and Saudi Arabia rose in August, when the mouth of the Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan (former general of the air forces of the Pasdaran), Tehran declared itself ready to respond with force to every provocation.
