The Body of the Guardians of the Revolution (better known as Pasdaran) issued an official warning addressed to all ships crossing in the Persian Gulf, warning of any trespassing within Iranian territorial waters.
"In case of infringement" the note says "The answer will be immediate ...".
The warning is addressed to all vessels, but in particular to those Saudis engaged for some days in exercises in the waters adjacent to the Sea of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf port and for decades the center of disputes over maritime jurisdiction.
The Navy of Iran and the naval forces of the Pasdaran "they are ready for any response, proportionate to the threat " they say in Tehran.
