Libya: the fall of a warlord and the truth about Sirte

Because I am you and you are not a c ...! General Haftar must have thought today, rejecting the proposed truce proposed by Russia and Turkey and hastily accepted by his rival Sarraj, while in the meantime Algeria and Egypt agreed to reject the presence of foreign forces in Libya.

Worth noting is the fall in Tripoli of the headquarters of the mercenary militias of Abdul Ghani al-Kikli, a gentleman of the war known as Ghaniwa and up to yesterday head of about 800 men, with the structure that is now firmly in the hands of the LNA of the same Haftar. The capture of a Turkish armored vehicle BMC Kirpi, one of the "dozen" delivered by Ankara to the GNA in Sarraj last May, is also confirmed.

Meanwhile, air and artillery attacks against Tripoli and Misrata intensified, with the latter's Air College particularly offended. It must be said that, now only Abu Grein stands between the LNA and the siege of the third Libyan city, with 400.000 inhabitants for two thirds of Turkish speakers.

It seems devoid of foundation, as hypothesized only by us, the news of Russian source - reported for sure by newspapers and television news - that a battle is being fought in Sirte. The city is in the hands of Haftar! However, we await further information from Libya before expressing ourselves with certainty.
