Who is Zoe? ...and the others?
I begin to read Paola Carta's book from the back cover, as I often do, looking for information on the author and the book.
I know little about Paola Carta, even though she is my countryman. I know her as we know each other when we are from the same country but have never been together.
Now, after reading your book, I think I know you better.
Zoe is the protagonist of a story, "Female Manifesto".
Zoe is a feminist (perhaps ... but perhaps not really a feminist feminist ... however, she had passed the stage in which she was angry with the world!).
He had shared the ideas and battles of women, and he had decided.
Paola left the country many years ago, as did I and many others, but now she is back.
What experiences have you experienced in these years?
What made her go away and why is she back now?
I don't think I have the right to ask her, but I can imagine many things from her book.
After the back cover I switched to the index ... and from there to 37 page, I am attracted by the title: "sardità".
Will it be the same as my "sardence"? or will there be differences?

Paola Carta is back in Gesico, a small town in the province of Cagliari, in Sardinia, theIchnusa of the ancients o Sandaliotis, Icho, Cadossene, Munivia and who knows in what other ways ... but I still won't return to Sardinia? I think, more and more often, that "Yes", when the time comes I will return, like so many others before me. Like so many others after me!

Every written word is a stone laid in the future.
That's why I write. I imagine that it is the thought of so many writers, I believe that it is also Paola's thought, even if I cannot be sure. Surely that was what Maya Angelou thought, aka Marguerite Ann Johnson.
Paola has been away from her country for many years, to study and work.
He spent years working for NGOs. South America, Africa, Italy ... and everywhere the same pain, the same suffering, the same people, the same yet so different.
Zoe, Irene, Marina ... or Paola?
I could continue to describe what I found in the pages of "Zoe and the others", I could tell you about Paola's experiences, sorry, Irene in Rio de Janeiro. I could tell you about Marina and her non self-sufficient elders, I could tell you about dreams and their meaning ... but I prefer to stop here and invite you to read her book, so that she is the one to speak to you, directly, and not through third parties.
