A percentage that should reach 2% if we observe the NATO guidelines, a value that appropriately divided, would be the final guarantee for the needs of the individual commands of the Armed Forces.
It is not the moment of controversy, but we consider it a civil and coherent perspective if there were no continuous political and preconceived frictions dictated by the review of public spending and by the ties with Brussels, for which, as we know, the essential cornerstones of the country, such as health, transport, infrastructure and school as well as the defense sector.
In short, a greater percentage of resources which in the case of Defense would translate into 360-degree operation and functionality of the sector, particularly with a view to a future reduction of 150 thousand units; a condition that should re-evaluate, as we have already reported, the departments, the reserve and the Auxiliary Bodies as a safe ready-to-use resource to complete the workforce both in the technical, professional, logistic and health fields.
To praise is the commitment of the rescuers and of the National Civil Protection Department who in a short time have made available mobile health facilities, first in northern Italy and then throughout the peninsula.

A prospect that, in the worst-case scenario, would also tilt even the most organized structures such as Lombardy and Veneto, therefore an military opportunity, not to be underestimated but, indeed, to be precautionarily increased even more and for the whole country. A picture that must take into account that our soldiers are people who are also subject to the invisible enemy, Covid19, therefore decisions must be made quickly, before the rescue was also decimated.
