Interview with Magdi Cristiano Allam: there is always someone who says "you have to die" ...

"Since the last few years have reduced my escorts more and more, I ask the state, beyond those who govern, to adequately protect my security so that I can move on in the mission of telling the truth in freedom. We are all in this together. If they are to kill my freedom, all of us will die". It is an excerpt of the letter that journalist and writer Magdi Cristiano Allam wrote to Interior Minister Marco Minniti and published online while awaiting a late reply.

The threats to Magdi Allam, who needs no introduction, are true, there is a fatwa that invites Muslims around the world to kill him and this happened well before he was baptized, on Easter night of 2008, by Pope Ratzinger, Benedict XVI. Allam has the courage of his ideas, is a man in the forefront, of great depth and dignity and under guard for years, even if the stock is increasingly reduced. A book just published, "Muhammad and his Allah", exposes him even more to the danger of retribution. It is important that, according to his ideas or not, institutions, citizens and colleagues do not leave him alone.

With the publication of the new book, Muhammad and his Allah, have the threats increased?

There are always threats. In various social, whether facebook or twitter, there is always someone who tells me "you have to die", "you'll be out", etc. Sometimes I have also denounced them, sometimes I do not, because nothing happens so much. But I'm worried more about the silence of those who should speak, rather than the screams of anonymous ones that probably have false identities.

Anonymous, in general, are cowards hiding behind the keyboard of a computer ...

While the silence of who, of course, totally disapproves of me, this concerns me.

Just as I'm well aware that touching Mohammed's theme for Muslims is a taboo. Keep in mind that even depicting Muhammad is considered blasphemous and an action that leads to death. When 7 January 2015 was massacred by Charlie Hebdo's cartoonists, for having depicted Maometto in an irreverent manner, that terrorist action was actually made in a climate where all Muslims agreed that the newspaper should be sanctioned. In the 2011 the so-called moderate ones (those of the great Paris mosque of Uyuf, a union of Islamic organizations in France, which in Italy has the remuneration in Ukiii, a union of Islamic communities and Islamic organizations in Italy, both ideologically linked to Muslim Brothers) had brought the satirical journalist's vignettes into court. They had filed a lawsuit to denounce the publication of vignettes depicting Muhammad.

There is also the fact that at the funerals in Paris, with the presence of the Heads of State, a large march with one million people, the Muslims who took part in this event did not raise the sign "je suis Charlie" but "je suis Ahmed "and Ahmed was one of the two policemen killed at Charlie Hebdo's home of Maghreb originals with a French Muslim nationality, identified by his co-heroes as their hero. None of them condemned the massacre of Charlie Hebdo's vignettists because all Muslims were convinced that Mohammed could not be scorned.

But the book is not a satirical operation ...

So, the fact that I wrote the book, entitled "Muhammad and his Allah", despite the absolute reliability of the sources because I respect the official Muslim sources, brings out a picture of Muhammad strongly disturbing. What emerges is the reality of a warrior or better, of a desert marauder, who has killed, fought, who has personally slaughtered and beheaded above all the Jews. This can only raise the anger of Muslims towards me. And so I wanted to say to the State: "look, this book, for those who literally and fully comply with what Allah prescribes in the Qur'an and what he said and did Mohammed, for them is a kind of declaration of war".

How many are the escort men now?

Currently I have three escort police, but I had initially the first level, the exceptional one where there is no limit nor the number of security operators, which in my case are carabinieri, or the machines made available. I arrived to have nine escort men and four cars, at times when the state felt the threat was increasing.

Minister Minniti answered the appeal?

Last 25 July, I called the minister's secretariat, I asked to send him an email, I did it immediately, in the same morning. Until today, August 7, I have not received any response. It is worrying, because usually a minister, even if not directly but through his secretariat, always answers. Whenever, in the past, I asked for a meeting with the Minister of the Interior or with the Chief of Police or with the General Commander of the Carabinieri, I was always received, immediately. This time I asked for a meeting only with the Minister of the Interior, to be fair, because security in Italy depends on him. And I was hoping for a quick and positive response, while two weeks have already passed. Minniti, whom I cannot say I know in the sense of acquaintances, even though I met him several times in television broadcasts, I have always seen him as a calm, decent person. However, I expect him to call me and that there is an adequate way to deal with this emergency.

In the light of just saying, even now the threat is growing. And the worrying silence of who should talk ... Who is that silent? Is Islamic Communities?

Exact. It is quite obvious that they have already condemned me, this is obvious. As is quite obvious that, among them, they are meditating on the countermeasures to be taken and are embarrassed. Probably the book has not yet been able to read it because at the time, to get it, you have to go through my website, you can only buy online both in print and in e-book. This for an agreement with Piemme, which will distribute it in bookshops from September while the current edition is published with my publishing house, the Mca Comunicazione. But anyone can have it.

I wanted to take preventive action because unfortunately, when these tragedies happen, there is no longer the right to reply. So I wanted to play in advance, saying "be careful, because this book, for Muslims, certainly represents a declaration of war and the escort you have reduced it more and more in recent years. Know, on the one hand, that somehow they will react and, on the other hand, that the condemnation in me never lapses, the fatwa never loosens ". When they publicly called me an enemy of Islam, it is not something that one then forgets.

Why is Magdi Cristiano Allam the apostate to be punished?

This is not from now on. They have not forgotten the past, they are always an apostate, an enemy of Islam. And that threat of death never decays, they do not regard me differently because I became Christian. In the Koran it is said that we all are Muslims and then, for "disgrace", for some, the fact of being born in a country rather than another makes them Christians, or Jews or Buddhists or Hindus. But for Allah, all are originally Muslims. It is so true that when we convert to Islam, we do not say "converted" but "returned to Islam". So for me, it will always remain the mark of the apostolate, of those who have abandoned, of those who have betrayed.

If that is why, some people are also called apostate to a policy that, to sum up, we could call the right "extreme". It is a cultural and ideological humus tied to some kind of sympathy for Islam in anti-Jewish and even anti-Christian terms ... Can we call it "fire friend"?

There is certainly a right that, starting from fiercely anti-Jewish positions and identifying in Israel the supreme evil and Jewish finance the manipulator of the fate of humanity, consequently has a negative assessment of me. Because, on the one hand, I support the State of Israel because it is right to uphold the right to existence and, on the other hand, to have spoken out clearly against Islam. From their point of view, Islam is their ally in the war against Judaism and, paradoxically, a war against Christianity.

The need for security, in general, is particularly felt today in Italy ...

Beyond my specific case, I am also worried about the security situation in Italy. Every day happen events that make us touch with hand that this State is no longer able to protect the security of citizens, there are assaults to the police and even the military. There is a vital need to invest heavily in security, so as to consolidate the security forces, the Armed Forces and also do so on the master plan, given that the average age of policemen and carabinieri is among the 45 and 48 years. And they must also be strengthened in terms of contribution, because they earn little, as they are well equipped with weapons, now backward. And trained with training, which is not adequate to face Islamic terrorism, especially for the law enforcement agencies operating in the area.

The need for security, which I perceive in the first place, I realize that is a wider speech that concerns all of us, where there is a need to amend the laws, politically to realize that we are in war and that War requires an emergency law, special laws. At a strictly legal point of view, it is important to note that a conception of Islamic terrorism is not a variant of organized crime, where arrests are allowed only in flagrante of crime and only if weapons are found or only if the terrorist is about to commit an attack. They did not understand, our politicians and our judiciary, that the real weapon of Islamic terrorism is not bombs or kalashnikovs, but it is brainwashing, which transforms people into death robots. We must have the intellectual honesty and courage to scare the stage of brainwashing. Otherwise, we will be irretrievably lost in this war.

Behind the term "war of religion", however, moves so much money, so much business, from the sale of arms and oil to the conquest of the territories, to the various nations that have at least ambiguous behavior towards terrorism and always on business ...

There are two levels of understanding of the phenomenon. The first is that of puppets, of which the substance is definitely the money, the intesses, the power, the control of the territory. At the level, however, of puppets, the religious dimension is the prevailing one, because the puppet you subordinate and manipulate it with religion, you impose certain behaviors by saying that Allah prescribed it, which Muhammad ordered it. But puppets work in a context of scorn.

We remember Arab Spring, which we all applauded as a wave of democracy, and instead, in the elections, the more fundamentalist groups prevailed ...

Arab Spring has been ingenuously traded as popular revolutions. In fact, it was a great plot plagued by the Muslim Brothers, but above all by the United States that supported the initiative, Turkey from Erdogan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and even the European Union.

A commentary, as a privileged observer, on what is happening now between Italy and Libya?

We must be very serious: if Italy really wanted to block the arrival of these hundreds of thousands of people, it could do so in five minutes, blocking its ports, as well as arranging the ships not off the Libyan coast but at the limit of its own. territorial waters beginning to tell these NGO boats that they are no longer welcome. It could be done, if Italy wanted it. But the fact of haggling, of saying "this ship yes, this other no, if it behaves like this, etc", is useless. Going to meet the self-styled mayors in Libya? There is no state in Libya and I don't understand which mayors Italy has spoken to. Europe and the United Nations have chosen a puppet they have designated as the president of a national government, but Sarraj represents absolutely no one. Without international protection he would not survive five minutes. In Libya we continue to make mistakes. And the basic lesson has not yet been understood, namely that we must support the laity, not the Islamic fundamentalists. Sarraj is behind the Muslim Brotherhood, Erdogan's Turkey, Qatar. You cannot raise a voice with Qatar or Turkey and then support, in Libya, those who represent the Muslim Brotherhood. Sarraj, to tell the truth, is not a direct expression of the Muslim Brotherhood but is there because the latter let him do it. We must take sides with the laity, represented by General Haftar. We must support it, arm it, strengthen it. With the few means available he managed to conquer Benghazi, as well as to control Tobruk. And we must ensure that Islamic terrorism is definitively defeated. And if he were defeated in Libya, it would be easier to do so in Europe too.
