He held senior positions in the Army General Staff (Deputy Chief of Staff from 30 August 2021 to 5 April 2024) and at NATO, contributing to the transformation and operational adaptation of the Land Forces.
Since last year he has been commander of COMFOTER (land operational forces command), the main body of the Italian Army responsible for the planning, training and operational readiness of land units.
