Even in austere times important steps can be taken and the armed forces equipped with excellent tools. It is certainly the case of the 3 ° REOS (Special Operations Helicopter Regiment) that with a reorganization of forces has even led to savings.
The regiment, which was formed last November 10 2014 inherited the war flag of the 3 air force regiment "Aldebaran" which operated until the 1998 from the base of Bresso (MI).
I believe that anyone who has even experienced the simple closure of the barracks in which he served can understand the pain of the dissolution of a department.
In this case it happened - once in a while - the reverse process: on Wednesday 19 November the war flag of the 3 ° aviation regiment of the army "Aldebaran" left the Vittoriano to be operational again.
