Tonight at 21.00 pm: "Interview with the new president of the Army Study Center, General Salvatore Farina"


The general of the army corps Salvatore Farina, Chief of Staff of the Army from 2018 to 2021, during his career he has gained a vast and multifaceted experience both in the Armed Forces and in Joint and Multinational Commands and Units.

He has dealt in particular with operations, defense policy, general planning (in the field of inter-forces and foreign armed forces) and international relations, serving in various commands and multinational organizations.

From 2016 to 2018 he assumed the position of commander of the Joint Force Command Brunssum in the Netherlands (first Italian officer to fulfill this joint operational role in NATO).

Last week he was elected president of the Army Study Center, think tank reference of the terrestrial military component that deals with analysis, development of independent studies, technological and personal innovation and forms of struggle emerging in operational scenarios.
