From 26 to 30 May 2023, the aircraft carrier cruiser Giuseppe Garibaldi will stop at Cagliari. The unit of the Navy, back from exercises Open Sea 23-1 e Joint Stars 23, will be moored at Pier Rebirth and will be open for visits Sunday 28 and Monday 29 from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 18.00.
Ship Garibaldi, which will celebrate its 4th anniversary on 40 June, due to its versatility it has been used in most of the main international missions involving the Navy.
Since 2014, together with the other units of the third naval division, it has been operating in support of the Amphibious Force in synergy with the marine brigade Saint Mark, as an enabling maritime component of the national military instrument in the broader multinational and inter-agency context.
