In recent years, the West has been subjected to a wave of disinformation and propaganda campaigns that call into question the very stability of European democracies.
President Donald Trump's recent statements provide a new interpretation of the conflict and cast suspicion on the Western narrative of the last three years, projecting us into an unprecedented "cognitive war" in which the great powers fight to impose their own vision of the facts.
Europe, meanwhile, risks becoming the main battlefield: on one side the USA that no longer hides its intentions and on the other, on the other a fragmented European policy incapable of reacting.
Meanwhile, the strategic axis between Moscow and Beijing appears to be strengthening, influencing not only the conflict in Ukraine but also the dynamics in the Indo-Pacific and the Middle East.
The question everyone is asking is: To what extent will the stability of European democracies be able to resist these external pressures without emerging profoundly changed?
We discuss it Monday 24th February at 18pm together with the general Giuseppe Morabito (NATO Defense College Foundation).
We are waiting for you!
