The Italian Army participates again this year in the SKIPASS trade fair, the most important snow showcase in Italy, a traditional attraction for mountain and outdoor enthusiasts, which will be held at the Modena Fair, from 28 October to 1 November.
The event, organized by Army Military Command "Emilia Romagna" for the Armed Force, will allow visitors to meet the Army soldiers and to see closely the equipment and equipment used for operational activities (Mountain Warfare) and training in the mountains. The soldiers of the Alpine Troops Command have in fact set up in an area of about 100 square meters, located in pavilion A of the fair, an exhibition space where equipment for the rescue of slopes and avalanches will be exhibited, a meteomont set-up with weather station " Krestel ", one for meteorological survey and a snowmobile.
In the same area there will be an INFOTEAM of the Army, which will provide information on the training institutes of the Armed Force - the Military Academy of Modena, the NCO School of Viterbo, the Nunziatella Military School based in Naples and the Teulie 'Military School with based in Milan - and on employment opportunities as a volunteer in fixed term (VFP1 and VFP4).
The presence of the military at the fair will also be an opportunity to promote the "Military Magazine", a periodical that since 1856 tells the evolution, history, values, traditions and commitment of the Italian Army at home and abroad. .
Access to the Army stand will be ensured in maximum safety and in full compliance with the anticovid regulations.
