Does Italy really want to put itself in the middle of what could be unleashed?

After the news published by Corriere della Sera concerning the possibility of bombing actions in Iraq by our own Tornado Interventionists became inflamed.

An Italy that does not have a "proper" foreign policy from many years, does it want to take on all the risks and consequences of those of others today?

The theater of war in which we would like a greater involvement (and the operational information to which only those who shoot are allowed ...) is the same one from which the Belgians have "stately" withdrawn with their F-16 a few months ago (v.articolo). The official reason was due to "financial availability issues". The more I suspect that the European brothers no longer wanted to be accomplices in a farce, the thought was even of the most naive.

The biggest danger of a similar step for Italy is, as always, to do it out of time and on the wrong side.

Let me explain better: ISIS has been described as the absolute evil for whose (future but sure ... defeat) would have taken years.

The Russian intervention could in a short time demonstrate what our soldiers - those who do not inform themselves through the newspapers - have known for some time: any army would be enough to massacre that army of peasants dressed in black, if they did not have "someone" who it finances and protects them.

This is the drama of the anti-ISIS coalition today: a tremendous monster has been created and Putin is in serious danger of taking credit for his defeat in a short time and with an overall mediocre effort.

Do you believe it will be allowed?

Could the terror well instilled in the world by the great and bloodthirsty black caliph be exorcised by a fearless "little Russian"?

Perhaps it would be desirable by anyone who has experienced the violence of the last 4 years of barbarism, but certainly not by those who have "invested" in it so much.

As a predator, Isis now appears as a "trophy" and the head of al-Baghdadi above the fireplace has - in words - always wanted everyone. Only Putin today seems to have actually decided to put it in the crosshairs. Do you think they will give it to him?

Do we really want to put ourselves in the middle of what is (really) going wild?
