Who doesn't know Boeing? The leading US aerospace company appears to have been hit by malware known as WannaCry, a particularly destructive virus from the ransomvare family.

In fact, the power of WannaCry seems to derive from the fact that it employs an IT tool developed by the called National Security Agency Eternal Blue, released by the hacker group "Shadow Brokers".

Eternal Blue exploits a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows that allows the attacker to automatically spread through vulnerable computers.

Now, even a manufacturer of this size and capacity can be hit by malware created by the NSA of his own country can and must make one think.

In fact, let us remember that WannaCry has been around for some time and there should have been all the time to apply the "patches" security but obviously also Boeing has some problems.

Other considerations can be made with regard to the denunciation of the fact, certainly appreciable, especially if, as stated, the malware did not hit the company's production line.

But all this is perhaps still premature, it could also be a simple preventive strategy and in the coming days we might find that Boeing, like the city of Atlanta, are only the first victims of a new world infection.
