One of the tools open that you can use to explore the cyber dimension is Talos. I talked about it in passing some time ago illustrating Cisco Umbrella (v.articolo) and today I add a few words for the curious.
The initial page is presented as in the image, it is the world map, in which are reported in real time the world email traffic data. The map is interactive so if you click on a point that indicates the presence of information you can deepen, for example the next image is obtained by clicking on the blue to the right, in the direction of Beijing:
You can see that there is a lot of information online about who produces email traffic, in this case it is legitimate traffic but it is more interesting to have a look at the flow of email type spam or type malware.
In the image at the bottom you see the card exploded on a case of spam emails generated in the United States.
The blog of Talos of course offers a lot of information, organized according to the bar at the top of the page, so those interested can learn more about both the products used and information on vulnerabilities.
