Kaspersky cyber-threat real time map

Kaspersky is a Russian cybersecurity company, at the center of several controversies in recent times as it is subject to sanctions by the United States.
A multinational based in Russia, with headquarters in Moscow and London, in the 2017 it has had revenues for almost 700 million dollars, employing about 4000 people in the sector of Cybersecurity.

To me today I want to show an aspect related to information on cyber attacks released by the company in real time through a very appealing tool: Kaspersky cyber-threat real time map. It is a three-dimensional representation (which will surely make it very well when it is realized in holographic technology) of the cyber space and the main threats.

The map is interactive so you can select a country (in my case I took Italy) and go some important information associated with the position in the ranking of the most attacked. According to the information available to Karspesky, Italy is in 11 position, therefore it is subject to numerically very significant attacks. In first place in the ranking is Russia while at 2 ° Germany, the United States is only in 6 position.

The map can be manipulated, enlarged, shrunk and provides many other information, especially on the type of attacks.

Having said that a question: but in Italy are you aware of being subject to so many attacks? And if the answer was positive, why then do not you hear about daily reports of data theft or cyberattacks?

Perhaps there is still too little awareness and while trying to understand, there are those who every day take away some more or less important information!
