Is Sweden preparing for the war? The Swedish Government through its agency MSB (Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency) since May, US has begun to distribute the "Om krisen eller kriget kommer"(If the crisis or the war comes) to 4,8 ML of families To cope with an imminent problem, according to some, more for cultural heritage according to our head.

The booklet has its important opening note:

For the population of Sweden

This brochure is being sent to all households in Sweden at the behest of the Swedish Government. The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) is responsible for its content.

The purpose of the brochure is to become better prepared for everything from serious accidents to extreme attacks.

Many people may feel a sense of anxiety when faced with an uncertain world. Although Sweden is safer than many other countries, there are still threats to our security independence. Peace, freedom and democracy are values that we must protect and reinforce on a daily basis.

Public authorities, county councils and regions, municipalities, companies and organizations are responsible for ensuring that society functions. However, everyone who lives in Sweden shares a collective responsibility for our country's security and safety. When we are under threat, our willingness to help each other is one of our most important assets.

If you are prepared, you are contributing to improving the ability of the country as a whole.

KEEP THIS BROCHURE!

Then they follow all the indications according to the hypothesized scenarios.

Now millions of copies are entering the homes of the Swedes: the goal is to prepare citizens to face a war, a terrorist attack or a catastrophe.1 But will it ever be possible that something so terrible to engage an entire nation could soon be unleashed? Everything can happen, of course. But talking about war becomes a bit difficult, at least to current conditions.

In order not to fall into the trap of alarmism and sensationalism, it is appropriate to observe the Swedish social dynamics well and understand the reason for such initiatives. Sweden is not the first time to publish a booklet of this kind for the population: it has already done so in 1943, '52,' 61, '83,' 87 and '91.2 Because the Swedish defensive model is based on total war: soldiers and civilians united and active, each for their own part of their competence. It is the defense model that most suits the Scandinavian country by tradition, habitat and evolved organization. It follows that the goal is that the population should always be up to date and prepared. An interesting example is the website dedicated to the specific emergency training that can be found at the following address: www.dinsakerhet.se

But how do you get to be like this?

Sweden is a very special country, so much so that it is at 3 ° place in the world for happiness and 1 ° for generosity. To understand the third place, Aristotle comes to the rescue: "it seems that happy life is according to virtue, and is a life of serious commitment, which does not consist in fun"3 But it is also the country where 1 on 4 dies alone among the indifference of others.4 We learn of death only when the bills that arrive in the bank are no longer paid because the money is finished or alternatively on the alarm of the neighbors for the smell of decomposition and often not even from them. All this has been achieved thanks to the extraordinary development of the welfare which allowed to focus everything on the well-being of the individual. In the 1972, at the Congress of Swedish Social Democratic Women, the manifesto of the "family of the future" was adopted "Familjen i framtiden en socialistisk familjepolitik".5 According to the political theory of that time, then put into practice: "Each individual must be considered as autonomous, not as someone else's appendix. It is therefore necessary to create the economic and social conditions that will finally make us independent individuals".6 This desire to be independent is part of a way of reasoning that goes back to millennia ago.

Studying the Swedish phenomenon is important because the knowledge of the psychology of a crowd and the public opinion of a given country allows ample room for maneuver and the prosperity of the country itself, but above all prevents falling into gross errors of assessment.7 This applies to all countries of the globe.

But let's continue with our analysis. Sweden is a very cold country, with very long winters, with a lot of rainfall, the territory is stingy with raw materials and does not offer much of the wood apart and little else. Yet it is a country that has never lost heart and has always tried to better plan the scarce resources concentrating as much as possible in the shortest possible time, because historically the months useful for the job were few. This has generated a mentality that is all about prevention and the SAPO -Säkerhetspolisen - the civil secret service is a clear demonstration of this, given that according to 2016 data, in that year it received an allocation from the 1,2 government miljarder Kronor for his activities.8 At the current exchange rate we are talking about 117.979.200 euro for a population of about 10 ML of people. Our own in the same year would have received 800 ML euro9 for all the acronyms for a population of 60 ML. The SAPO has also published a response to the consultation on the legal matter pertaining to interceptions, in which it also concerns a curious aspect of the privacy. The problem of interceptions is highlighted and proposed to intercept, but without entering the apartment to fix the bugs or contacts to the suspect's telephone line 10 not to violate the privacy even more: so we are satisfied with the telephone exchanges that are all in the basements of the buildings. Yes, it is a violation of the sacrosanct privacy, but in half. All this is indicative of theirs mindset.

Historically Northern Sweden has one "Inheritance in the art of weaving as well as in baskets, glasses, cups and dishes all made of intertwined pinastro roots and whose decoration corresponds exactly to that of corded ceramic".11 This demonstrates a certain sensitivity of the people's mind and a remarkable industriousness within the narrow limits that nature and the environment have generated. Generation by generation the Swedes knew how to pass on skills and sensitivity. Historically quiet area, has meant that the slow path of evolution was fairly linear and constant.

"In the real Scadinavia forests and mountain ranges have helped to preserve ancient ethnic areas: (Telemark, Saetersdal, Norwegian West, [...] Dalecarlia in Sweden)".12 The forging of the character of the people is evident from the aforementioned. The territorial isolation, linked to the lack of raw materials, allowed the slow sedimentation of the ethnic character impurities in order to improve, becoming in fact the main cause of the social traits that have lasted up to the present day. Planning is one of the results of this long sedimentation.

The environment and climatic conditions have therefore forged the ancient Swedes, providing them with a sense of reasoning and a capacity for forecasting and adaptation out of the ordinary. An example? "In the north, in times of famine, it was not uncommon to mix ground peel with flour to make it enough ".13 The long historical route has however brought the Swedes and be focused on concrete and pragmatic activities, all aimed at survival and sharing the little available with the community. The type of purely manual activity has developed a strong technical orientation. The logical outlet is a strong national interest for everything concerning technological innovations aimed at improving the conditions of life in the nation as a whole. We must not forget that difficult natural conditions are in fact an extraordinary driving force in the search for improvement. But all this also opens up to dangers, because "Our modern technical secrets are the most concentrated and most dangerous. They hit all, but only a small number of people are aware of it, and five or ten men depend on their employment"14

Today the Swedish government has well understood that in the event of war, information plays a crucial role and that the risk of coming to derealization, that is "a game of interpretations"15 where images replace reality and in turn become reality it is very high. For this reason, a special structure is active that provides official information through the site www.krisinformation.se
