(16 April 2012) A few hours after a sudden acoustic escalation of gunshots and explosions that woke up Kabul - after which the silence ... - the city resumes normal daily life as if nothing had happened.
After a night spent writing and sending images in Italy I am again there, ready to experience a small personal tragedy: the spare memory cards (bought on ebay by a private person to save money) indicate 10 class but do not respect the declared performances.
After a few minutes the recorded files become unusable. Just when I sneak into the building that shows signs of the siege (including corpses) ...
