"MILITARY ZONE - NO ACCESS"

I was at the entrance of the Naval Base, a few yards away from the guard, waiting for a colleague to go to the Prefecture and the Registry to work on the job queue.

That morning in July seemed to be in Florida.

A spectacular sun and a cloudy sky made the sea mirror of Naval Base Naples seem blue, and even some oily patches on the surface acted more for decorative motives than polluting factors, with the colors of a rainbow chemist dancing lazy on the water .

At the time of the facts the entrance to the base was directly on Via Acton and so the guard became a little 'less heavy: you could distract you to watch the traffic and people passing on the sidewalk.

Sure, not really a nice pastime but always better than nothing.

From the flow of traffic a car with trailer trailer came out, put the arrow to the right and slipped into the base gate passing through a fluid maneuver in front of the guard body. The friendly smiles that accompanied the cordial greetings of the driver, the lady sitting next to him and two children on the back seat, countered the look of the guard sergeant, who was unattractively friendly to the greeting, with a vague gesture of his hand.

So the car went quietly and, walking in some way out of the way, went along the quayside, slipped into the tunnel near the caretaker and headed for the San Vincenzo Pier.

When asked about the post, "But who was that?" The sergeant replied with annoyance, "And who was supposed to be, on the aircraft carrier? It was na machina on the caravan, right?" and resumed his observation of traffic and pedestrians.

It took just over half an hour, and then the time that had obviously been used to reverse the gear went crazy to make maneuvering with cars and caravans on the San Vincenzo Molo, when the car came back to the Guard Corps.

The driver leaned out of the window and raised the attention of the sergeant who approached the car, raised a military greeting and asked, "Tell me, is there something wrong?"

The driver, a bit embarrassed, answered with a question "But the boarding for the ferry to Ischia from where is it?"

"The ferry to Ischia? Dear sir ... and it is not here ... it is at the next entrance. did you see the sign? "

"So I could not get in?"

"Certainly not!"

"Excuse me, I go away right away," he replied, puzzled and contradicted, the driver. He swung the march and went out on the road.

To the new question of the post "But then who was he?" The sergeant said he was almost annoyed "And who was supposed to be, one that I do not know how he did if he was a lawyer?" Nun sape did not read the signs, but as I say, you see people in uniform and so much as a sign saying that you can not come in and put the same in? So what are we doing here?

And he returned to his observation of traffic and pedestrians.
