Visit of a delegation of the Uzbek armed forces to the "Garibaldi" brigade

As part of the visits, activities and exchanges of a training nature with foreign countries, the visit of a delegation of the Uzbek armed forces to the "Garibaldi" Bersaglieri brigade ended in recent days in the district of Persano (SA). conducted, in the last two weeks, aPlace Command Command (EPC) in the training area of ​​the aforementioned district.

The delegation, composed of two senior officers (Col. Sormonkulov Adkhamjon and ten col. Abdullaev Abdugofur) was welcomed by the commander of the brigade "Garibaldi" -general brigade Diodato Abagnara - and took part in various activities. From the visit to the field organization set up for the EPC, to the observation of how a large elementary unit works in preparation in the various operational scenarios, such as Crisis Response Operations (CRO) and the Homeland Security Operations (HSO), up to the preparation in different international contexts.

The activity also developed in the dependent departments of the "Garibaldi", where the delegation was able to participate in a static exhibition, set up for the occasion by the 4th rgt. Chariots, with the exhibition of different weapons systems and conducted a visit at the command district, where he had the opportunity to see the various training centers present, such as the shooting range in the tunnel, the training center, the Combat Outpost (COP) and the Virtual Battlespace (VBS) 3 to assist, finally, at the commander change ceremony of the 8 ° rgt. to. b. "Pasubio".

At the end of the week of activity, the Uzbek delegation, before leaving the area of ​​the Persano area, was greeted by the commander of the brigade who expressed, on this occasion, his personal thanks for the visit, remarking how these bilateral meetings "Are of fundamental importance for the achievement of an ever greater adherence to complex scenarios and for mutual understanding aimed at achieving stable and lasting international conditions of peace and security".
