Army officer awarded for the best degree thesis

On the afternoon of May 20, the award ceremony for the best university students of the academic year 2016-17 took place in the main hall of the University of Turin. Among the promising graduates, the Italian Army Lieutenant Virgilio Zupancich was awarded who, during the completion of the degree course in "Strategic and Military Sciences" held at the Training Command and Application School of the Turin Army, in collaboration with SUISS (Interdepartmental University School in Strategic Sciences), he developed his master's thesis entitled "Remotization of an area nodal center or Interforze radio station using ARDUINO technology".

This significant recognition was established in 1993 on the decision of the Academic Senate, and is awarded annually by a special awarding Commission, appointed for each degree course, which examines the theses of the academic year of reference and chooses the one deserving to receive this recognition. Lieutenant Zupancich, now active in the 2nd Alpine Transmission Regiment of Bolzano, with the award he obtained demonstrated the high university training that is carried out at the Army Training Command and Application School, for the training of officers of the Italian Army and civilian students who choose to undertake this university course in the field of Defense and Security Sciences.
