With the 27 neo-instructors graduated at the end of the 13 ° Instructor Course 1 ° Military Combat Method Level (MCM) the prestigious milestone of the 400 MCM instructors qualified and deployed in the various Departments of the Armed Force has been surpassed. The Parachute Training Center (CAPAR.), The only body designated by the Italian Army for the training of all MCM instructors, consolidates its leadership in training but also in the research, testing and updating of the Military Combat Method.

The MCM was born in 2014, the year in which it was officially included in the training programs after a period of experimentation, as a close-range combat system that responds to the particular military operational needs. Since it has been equipped with the MCM, the Italian Army has definitively standardized the Techniques, Tactics and procedures of combat at close range, ensuring the fighter, operating on the battlefield with and without individual equipment worn, the ability to neutralize a hostile element when he is no longer able or is no longer in a position to use a firearm.

Like any dynamic and constantly evolving system, the MCM is able to incorporate new methodologies, solutions or tricks considered functional to raise the combatant's level of training. These innovations are the result of the experiences of real employment, acquired by the staff employed in the operating theaters, in the context of the Operation Safe Roads but also from the exchange of experiences with the most important NATO and non-NATO armies. These aspects guarantee the Armed Forces the unchallenged leadership in the field of individual combat training on an international level.

The 1 level-level instructor course is developed on 7 training weeks which include daytime and nighttime activities set in various operational scenarios and includes several selective and barrier moments where the students are assessed on the three main pillars from the physical preparation, preparation technique to the methodological-didactic competence, this aspect is considered essential to be able to then effectively exercise the teaching functions at the units to which it belongs.
