The training of the departments included in the Aries-driven force package for the VJTF continues

The training of the staff of the 132 ^ armored brigade "Ariete" of the Army and of the departments included in the force package for the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) 2018 engaged in various operational activities, in Italy and abroad, aimed at maintaining readyness and organizing the next appointments, in particular, of the "Trident Juncture 2018" exercise which will take place in Norway on next autumn and which promises to be the most demanding training activity of the Atlantic Alliance in the last twenty years, with the participation of over forty thousand soldiers from over thirty nations. 

Among the most important activities recently carried out, the commander's conference organized at the German-Dutch Rapid Deployable Corps (NRDC) of Munster, the body designated as Land Component Command for the eNRF 2019, during which the programmatic features for the next year and the training aspects related to Trident Jucture 2018.

Precisely because of the approach of this important training event, which will see the main assets envisaged in the VJTF package projected in the Nordic country, the "Ariete" command and support unit continued with the implementation of the brigade command post implementation search for solutions that require ever greater mobility and low signage, with the materials supplied and those recently acquired with the funds allocated for the need. Tests were carried out on the deployment of the main command post and the tactical one.

Meanwhile, the C4 task force based on the 7th transmission regiment, with assets of the "Ariete" brigade command, participated in Lithuania in the COMMEX (Communication Exercise) "Steadfast Cobalt 2018", a complex activity organized by NATO aimed at testing interoperability of CIS (Communication and Information Security) structures and the validity of IT communication tools and applications. The activity, which ended with the achievement of the pre-established training objectives, made it possible to achieve the interoperability requirements with the German-Dutch NATO Rapid Deployable Corps (NRDC).

The 1 ° mountain artillery regiment conducted at the polygon of Monteromano a school aimed at maintaining the integrated module and, at the same time, to implement the SOPs on the indirect fire defined during the stand-down year and at the premise of the certification phase achieved with the "Brilliant Ledger Part 2" tutorial.

Finally, a Turkish delegation coming from the NRDC of Istanbul, Command designated as Land Component Command for the NRF 2020, visited the "Aries" Brigade at the "Mittica" barracks in Pordenone where he met the key elements of the command of the great unit, for an exchange of information and to acquire useful elements from the experience gained so far by theRam in the VJTF, in order to capitalize them for the homologous commitment to which the 66 ^ mechanized brigade of the Turkish Army will be destined in the same year.

Equally important are the next planned commitments for the remaining departments that are part of the driving force package Ram, which at the end of the month will perform an important inter-action exercise to opposing parties in which the 11 ° Bersaglieri regiment will be involved, the 187 ° regiment paratroopers, the 10 ° regiment genius spoilers, a JTAC core provided by the artillery command, the 32 ° regiment wagons , with the important competition of elements supplied by the SORAO regiment and the brigade Friuli. The 132 ° chariot regiment will play the role of the opposing party.

The month of June will end with a COMMEX during which the latest CIS solutions of the Brigade command post will be tested, with the lead of the C4 component edited by the 7 ° regiment transmissions.
