(To COMLOG)
28/08/18

In recent days, the contact team made up of staff from the Pole of Maintenance of the Light Weapons (ARMIPOLO) of Terni came back from Latvia.

In particular, the team of technicians, made up of highly qualified military and civilian personnel from the Polo, during the days spent in the Baltic Republic, intervened to restore the full efficiency of weapons such as machine guns and mortars. The team then concluded the complex and delicate intervention with fire tests in the shooting range, thus guaranteeing, for the part of its competence, the total efficiency of the Freccia VBMs present.

The Light Weapons Maintenance Pole of Terni, a national center of excellence and a point of reference for the Armed Forces as regards light weapons equipment, is the executive body dependent on the Army Logistics Command which provides support logistics to the units of the Armed Force both at home and in "out of area" operations.
