The tricolor is waving on the historical museum of Bersaglieri

Finally, the Italian flag flies over the Bersaglieri historical museum in Porta Pia. With a solemn ceremony the national flag was hoisted yesterday in the presence of the sharpshooters of the Roma Capitale section and of Pomezia, with the president Massimo Flumeri and the fanfare leader Renzo Tomò.

The event began with a speech by Colonel Nunzio Paolucci, director of the museum. Don Emanuele Daniel, parish priest of San Giuseppe sulla Nomentana, then blessed those present and the flags, which were placed shortly after, by some soldiers, on the flagpole of Michelangelo's sail.

While waiting, the prayer of the bersagliere was read by the museum official Anna Di Carlo and by the bersagliere Antonio Abbadessa. The plumed infantrymen then sang the hymn of Mameli accompanied by the trumpet of the bersagliere Massimiliano Giustiniani. Students of an elementary class were also present to attend the demonstration, to whom the Bersaglieri put on their feathered hat.

Yesterday was an important moment for the museum which, in addition to having the Tricolor, will be made available to the public on weekday mornings, free of charge.
