In recent days, at the "Capone" barracks in Persano, in the presence of the commander of the Bersaglieri brigade "Garibaldi", Brigadier General Diodato Abagnara, the tankers of the 4th regiment celebrated the anniversary of the establishment of the specialty.
During the ceremony, the Standard of the regiment, on board of the tank L-3 / 33, a historical half used by the regiment during the 2 World War II, recently returned to the "ranks of the Unity", marched in front of the men and the women of the regiment deployed in Piazza d'Armi.
The ceremony continued with the address of the commander of the 4th Carri Regiment, Colonel Diego Antonio Giarrizzo, who retraced the historical and human events of the specialty, citing some heroic deeds in the land of Africa during the Second World War.
