The bomb, type AN-M65, was found following some cleaning works of the river bed under the bridge between Valenza and Lomellina. The specialists of the 32 ° regiment genius spoilers - who have a valuable experience also gained in missions abroad - in 2018 alone have carried out 110 interventions, including the bomb found at the Lingotto in Turin, making 300 warlike residuals inoffensive unexploded in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta. Alongside its strictly military activity, the regiment intervenes, at the request of the competent prefectures, in activities to support the population in the event of disasters, as in Liguria last November or in Abruzzo following the known seismic and climatic events.
