In recent days, at the Cesano di Roma and Lecce CATs, the exercises "Sagittario 3 / 2019" and "Centauro 3 / 2019", "livex" activities that allow the units of the Armed Force to operate in real environments, using individual weapons, vehicles and weapon systems supplied.
The livex "Sagittarius 3 / 2019", held in Cesano di Roma, was aimed at training units in exercises that simulate a specific tactical context, aimed at increasing and improving the knowledge of personnel in the application of Tactical Technical Procedures (PTT) of the fusilier team.
The activity saw opposing units of the regiment of students of the Military Academy, to a platoon formed by units of the same regiment. The livex "Centauro 3 / 2019", held at the CAT in Lecce, aimed to train the units in offensive and defensive tactical activities. The exercise has contrasted unity of the 19 ° course Marshals of the Unit Cavalry School of the 31st “CARRI” Regiment.
The livex activities are conducted in two distinct moments, a preparation phase, including the study of the scenario and the training objectives, during which field detection sensors and mobile devices for the control and evaluation of the exercise were deployed , and a phase of conduct that develops with continuous actions on the ground constantly followed by observers and analysts able to monitor and evaluate the decision-making processes of the commanders of each level and the behavior of the units on the ground.
As part of the Live, Constructive and Virtual training simulation, the Simulation and Validation Center is the main point of reference of the Army for the preparation of command posts, staff and units intended for use outside the national territory using technological information systems advanced simulation and command and control, making use of the collaboration of sector experts and personnel already employed in the Operating Theater of reference.
