Change of the Army logistic commander

This morning, at the Polifunctional Center of Experimentation of Montelibretti, in the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Army, General Claudio Graziano, the ceremony of rotation of the logistic commander of the Army was held.

The army corps general Mario Roggio handed over the task to the army corps general Alessandro Montuori, thus ending the active service after a long and brilliant career.

During his speech, General Graziano stressed that "our focus is on operations and logistics allows us to work, it is also the essential basis of personnel safety and is absolutely vital for the efficiency of our Units."  

On this occasion the silver cross was awarded to the Army for merit at the Military Veterinary Center which, by developing the operational canine capacity aimed at researching and detecting explosive devices, has provided invaluable help for the security of the contingents, raising the prestige of the Armed Forces in Italy and in the international context.
