Over the past weekend, among the splendid Austrian scenarios, the first airman Leonardo Fabbri, for the second time in his career, has overcome the 20-meter wall in the shot put.

This excellent performance meets the registration standards for the upcoming Glasgow Indoor European Championships (1-3 March pv).

After 16 years since the launch of Paolo Dal Soglio, an Italian returns to mark these measures, which are worth not only the minimum for the Europeans already mentioned, but also the best Italian under 23 performance ever.

13 is an inch improvement compared to last July's 20,07 in Leiria, and 25 compared to 19,95's previous 2018 indoor personal record in February.

These are the hot words of the athlete of the Air Force Sports Center: "I came to Vienna for this: to get Glasgow. And so it was. I made three jumps, the first very quiet at 18,91. On this I know I still have a lot to mature, that is to learn to start the race with a better pitch. Then came the 20,20 that I had been waiting for a long time. After the result I let myself go, I cheered, and maybe there I lost a bit of concentration. I felt so good that I could do even more. I tried a third jump for confirm me and it was a good 19,74, then I preferred to stop. It is certainly a good test in view of the Euroindoor, an event in which I will have to do well in the first three launches, as I did today ".
