An exceptional success was obtained by the Alpine in service at the “Tridentina” Command and Tactical Support Department in Bolzano, which saw him crown an exceptional season in which the military won 3 world medals and 3 individual victories.
"With the conquest of the World Cup in fact I realized a dream" said the 1st corporal Tanel, at the end of the last race of the season. The physical and mental training provided by the Alpine Troops were important ingredients in achieving the Cup: they allowed him a winning approach to the fatigue of training.
