Last weekend in Poznan (Poland) were the sub-bosses of Marina Gabriel Soares (capovoga) and Catello Amarante to bring the bow in front of everyone with their 4 of lightweight pair armed with the companions Alfonso Scalzone (RYCC Savoia) and Niels Torre (SC Viareggio).
Another silver arrived the next day with the 4 without a senior, behind only the world champions from Australia, with the Olympic bronze medalist from Rio aboard Giovanni Abagnale.
The performance of the Italian flagship, the 8 with helmsman, was also excellent, having climbed the top ten to sixth place remaining in the race from the first to the last palate. On board the sub-leaders Vincenzo Abbagnale, Luca Parlato, and Cesare Gabbia constitute almost the 50% of the crew.
A winter of hard work in a rally with the senior national team at the prestigious Marina Remiero Sports Center in Sabaudia, has borne fruit and bodes well for the upcoming Olympic selections to be held in Linz (AUT) in October on the occasion of the championships world.
So our Azzurri came back to Piediluco, the Azzurri's summer rally center, while in Sabaudia we continue to work with the national team junior that prepares the next challenges.
