Lebanon: Karate world champion Sara Cardin in the schools of Naquora and Tibnin

In the context of development projects organized by the units responsible for military civil cooperation aimed at supporting the local population, Karate world champion in the kumite Sara Cardin specialty, has made some lessons in favor of several students of Lebanese schools in recent days. and associations in Lebanon.

In particular, the world champion Sara Cardin, has illustrated its Olympic discipline in favor of fifty students from the public schools of Naquora and Tibnin, in favor of female military personnel of all nations operating in the Sector West of UNIFIL placed under the Italian Command and UNIFIL, as well as in favor of the Akouri association that takes care of the support to the widows of the fallen of the Lebanese Armed Forces.

The activities carried out at the UNIFIL West Sector Command were followed by various local authorities, the United Nations Command in Naquora, as well as by the Italian ambassador to Lebanon and Massimo Marotti

The military contingent deployed in the West Sector of the UNIFIL Italian-led mission on a brigade paratroopers basis thunderbolt, has started a project for the development of sports and martial arts for several months.

In particular the military instructors of Military Combat Method and Karate regularly conduct Karate courses for disabled children of the Mosan Center in Tire, the public schools of Dibil, Al Duhaqra, Al Naquora and Tibnin, as well as self-defense lessons for the girls of the Women's Institute of the public school of Shooting involving to date over 400 students.

Sport, in addition to being aimed at improving psychophysical conditions, represents an undoubted moment of aggregation, training and, in the case of activities such as this carried out in favor of young people, it represents an investment in the new generations and therefore in the future of the country.
