The ceremony was attended by Colonel Mauro Arnò, head of the Military Civil Cooperation of the Command of the Joint Task Force Lebanon and Mr. Michel Choufani, Deputy Mayor of the aforementioned municipality of about 10000 inhabitants, representing the city Municipal Council. Mayor warmly thanked the Italian blue helmets for the constant help provided to the population and for the proximity to the institutions of the town they represent. Support for the population is one of the fundamental pillars of UNIFIL's presence in Lebanon and the men and women of the Mechanized Brigade "Grenadiers of Sardinia" are concentrating their efforts precisely in this direction.
