At about 11.00 local time, during the normal activities of advising and assistance by the Italian soldiers employed in the Herat area in favor of the Afghan security forces, a Lince vehicle was the object of an anti-tank rocket launch.
The rocket did not hit the vehicle directly, exploding nearby, causing slight damage. The Italian military carried out the operations of securing for the return to base.
There are no injuries among Italian soldiers.
