"An insecure sea has a very high price because the traffic, the trade, the free use of the maritime communication routes, can be conditioned, also from an economic point of view, by the presence of illegal activities."indicated Admiral Girardelli during his speech which also highlighted how"prevention is always better than taking care, even at sea, with presence and surveillance activities beyond the horizon, to ensure that the legitimate use of the maritime environment as a fundamental and enabling aspect for the future of the planet is not compromised".

A Lectio Magistralis much appreciated also in the words of Professor Michele Bugliesi, magnificent rector of the "Ca 'Foscari" University, who defined the collaboration with the Navy "a happy synthesis that greatly enriches the contents of mutual formation. Together we have created an important educational product and its quality is manifested by the growing number of entries from the various sectors and sectors of the community and civil institutions.".
