Published in the Official Gazette no. 21 of 13.03.2018 - 4th Special Series, the competition announcement for admission to the first course of the prestigious “Francesco Morosini” Naval School in Venice. The places available are 70, 18 for the traditional classical high school and 52 for the scientific high school, and offer an extraordinary educational and life opportunity for boys and girls who want to invest in their future whether they aspire to become professionals of the sea and those who aspire to prestigious professional opportunities, not exclusively aimed at enlisting in the Armed Forces.
Deadline for submitting the application, electronically from the page Competitions and military schools Site https://concorsi.difesa.it, will be the next 13 April 2018.
The adventure begins with the submission of the application form which, in the event of passing the selections, will accompany the children into the future by opening up distant horizons that will also lead them, during the school course, to sail the seas on the training ships of the Navy. At the end of the courses at the “Francesco Morosini” Naval School, former patrons will be able to see their training course culminate within the Armed Force, competing for admission to the Naval Academy of Livorno and become, if suitable, true professionals of the sea.
Today the Naval Academy counts among its patrons well 70 students coming from the prestigious Military Naval School, 17 of which they entered in the last year.
The school lessons, carried out by a teaching body made up of civilian teachers following the study plan of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, tend to educate young people and arouse their interest in life on the sea, orienting them towards related to the marine environment. During the training course, a right balance is struck between the pre-university and pre-university preparation and the preparation in the activities that mark the daily rhythm of the student's life.
The Institute is able to guarantee, with its facilities, vehicles and boats, a top-level sporting and training reference, where the visitors have the opportunity to compare themselves in maritime disciplines, such as sailing, canoeing, rowing, swimming and Venetian rowing, which sports in general such as athletics, basketball, volleyball, football and gym.
More and more students are deciding each year to approach this exciting world as the strength remains the custody of traditional values such as correctness, order and sense of duty.
