The day 8 May Nave Alcide Pedretti, naval unit of the "Teseo Tesei" Submarine and Underwater Grouping (COMSUBIN), left the port of La Spezia to head towards Ancona from where for about two weeks it will support the sampling of the water at the oil platforms by the divers of the Group Operative Divers of the Navy.

This activity is part of the number of collaborations provided for in the agreement between the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Economic Development (Mi.SE) which includes, inter alia, the use of the Comsubin structures to carry out underwater inspections at the platforms off-shore positioned within the territorial waters in the Adriatic Sea.

In addition to carrying out the institutional duties of Defense and Security, the Military Navy makes available to the community its professionalism, its personnel and its means in a range of activities and operations ranging from social, humanitarian, environmental, to scientific and in all sectors of interest of the community. It is the so-called concept of "commitment to the community" that is realized thanks to the intrinsic operational flexibility, in collaboration opportunities in the context of dedicated agreements that the Navy stipulates with Ministries, institutions, institutions and organizations.
