The ship's crew Driade greets the city of Piombino thus returning to the sea heading towards Sicily, as part of the last naval campaign of the unit, before the decommissioning which will take place on July 16th.
Ship Driade has been warmly welcomed by local citizens. Besides 600, in fact, it was visitors who, on stopping days, were able to greet "for one last time" this glorious unit of the Navy.
To pay homage to the corvette also the institutional offices, such as the mayor of Piombino, and a representative of the local Italian Sailors Association. History within history, to honor almost thirty years of activity in the service of the country.
